This superfood smoothie recipe is a great mix of vitamins, proteins, fiber and heart-healthy monounsaturated fats. Enjoy in the morning as an energizing start to your day or for a sweet cool treat in the evening.
What you'll need:
1 cup blueberries
1 cup almond milk
1/4 cup almond butter or peanut butter
1 teaspoon maple syrup
2 tablespoons ground flax seeds
1 tablespoon chia seeds
How to Create:
In a blender, mix all ingredients together well. Add ice if you prefer this chilled. Garnish with fresh berries + mint, and enjoy this healthy treat!
Add organic dark chocolate bits and chill in the freezer for 15 minutes for a divine frozen desert!
