One of my favorites juices is one which is equally sweet and refreshing, both energizing and cooling.
This juice combination has fruits from the tropics: pineapple and orange with a citrus burst of lime. Fresh ginger and turmeric are ancient spices used to heal the body and have incredible health benefits. Both ginger and turmeric fire up the digestive juices, improve the absorption and assimilation of essential nutrients in the body and have anti-inflammatory effects. They are immunity boosters and ones we should take fresh in our food and drink daily to receive the benefits of these spices.
What you'll need:
1/2 small pineapple
1/2 teaspoon size fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon size fresh turmeric
How to Create:
In a juicer (cold or hand pressed if possible to maintain as many nutrients within the food) or blender add all the ingredients and mix well. Add ice if you prefer this chilled. Serve in a juice glass with a slice of lime for garnish and enjoy this delicious blend of flavors!
Add passion fruit for a more tropical blend OR take out the orange and replace with spinach/cucumber for a more earthy green juice! Garnish with pineapple slice or cucumber.
